Cercenasco's students are preparing European flags in order to create Erasmus Logo. Then they are working for bookmarks with the shape of Italy. They want to share them with Swedish friends.
Swedish and Italian Teachers:
first meeting in
Moncalieri-Italy
Job shadowing experience at Uttersbergsskolan in KOLMÄRDEN, SWEDEN from 28th August to 1 st September 2017
Three Italian teachers, Daniela, Lidia and Piera, from the “Istituto Comprensivo di Vigone”, located 30 km from Turin, Italy, will spend a week in Uttersbergsskolan for a job shadowing experience. In the Erasmus+ Programme it is possible for schools to develop projects in the framework called Key Acion1, to organize mobility for school staff for learning/ teaching/training abroad. Apart from attending structured courses, it is possible to spend some days at a foreign school who accepts this request, in this case the two schools in Kolmården, with these aims: - to study the Swedish school system that is one of the best in Europe - to observe how school activities are organized (timetable, curriculum...) - to teach something in English in some classes, following a scheduled plan - to teach simple words/phrases in national language (in this case in Italian) - to know about another culture - to exchange best practice - to take part in some cultural traditional events if possible. Of course there is reciprocity: if some teachers from the host schools would like to have such an experience in Italy, they are welcome. Since the communication language is English, the Italian teachers will spend their 5 days during the 35th week both in Uttersbergsskolan with the youngest and in Råsslaskolan, in classes 4-6. The host schools have planned a day by day intense timetable; the staff will welcome them in their classes and the guests will be involved in the schools activities. Jod shadowing represents a positive open minded experience that will inable the schools to cooperate in the future in transnational way. Besides, teaching abroad is a challenge for all theachers, who should be incouraged to undertake such an experience.
